In this first of a trilogy, we find many unknown and hidden facts in explaining why international terrorism has been unleashed on New York, Washington, Bali and Israel. The terrorists' aims, targets, motives, as well as the psychology behind its motives, and the tactics, are all focused towards a central point: the conquest of the world for Islam.

In only 135 pages Manuel Vider, well known to readers of past issues of JewishXpress, asserts that in 2001 the Western powers needed to form a coalition to commit 300,000 soldiers in order to wipe out the al-Qaeda syndicate and the Taliban government who supported and provided safe haven to them in Afghanistan. Vider points out that in fact many Muslim countries have been transformed into a safe haven for them, and in particular, Afghanistan.

"Afghanistan was not actually a military base, it was a huge training camp for terrorists, where they dreamt, planned and from where terrorists got their orders and destination."
Vider puts his finger on several main sensible spots: First: That the monotheistic Islamic religion's effectives could be easily drafted to incite terrorists. Islam tolerates aggressive force when �it pleases Allah,� such as the punishment of �Infidels� (non-Muslims.) Actually, in this twenty-first century it seems that it's the religious centerpiece of Islam. Second: That the huge vacuum vacated by imperial powers of the XIX and XX centuries was filled in great part by Islamic, Muslim, Arabs and new converts to Islam, in 22 and a half independent countries, peoples that developed an excessive pride, a sense of superiority and a basic contempt for modernism and the whole Western, Greek-Judeo-Christian civilization.

That feeling, along with the desire for revenge for past military defeats, as the ones in Southern Spain in 1492, the Lepanto naval battle in south Greece by a Spanish fleet in 1610, the stoppages of their advance in the battles by Vienna in 1529 and 1683, the abolition of the Califate in Turkey in 1924, the defeats in Palestine in 1948 and 1967 at the hands of the Israelis, and the one in Afghanistan on 2001 brought Islam to regroup in a worldwide onslaught of revenge and conquest. It was due mainly to the spiritual following of Khomeini, since 1979, and the organizational genius of Osama bin-Laden during the last decade.

The pushing and indoctrination of the religion seems to be in the hands of the Wahhabi sect of Saudi Arabia, backed with million of petrodollars. Imams are sent to thousands of mosques by the Ayatollahs of Iran. The mosques have been converted in headquarters and incubators for the spreading of terror, anti-Semitism and hatred of the Western values. But Manuel Vider also surprises us in his conclusions, that the illegal emigrations of huge masses of Muslims towards Europe, Australia and other coveted lands, is the Islamic "secret weapon" (20-30 millions already in Europe, another 60(?) millions in Russia.) If not contrarrested, the West will fall easy pray and be conquered from inside. It is not Vider's discovery. Cardinal Giacommo Bipi, representative of the Vatican with the Italian government taught it to him. The journalist Oriana Fallacci, a turned back socialist, is teaching it too in 2002. Lourdes Rensoli in Madrid is also campaigning in order to let it be known to her audience and beyond. Many more throughout the world already know it.

The West is sleeping in a nirvana state without even sensing that they are being conquered, and later on, enslaved. The contribution of Vider's work could be marginal, but nevertheless he intends to get to the front lines of that awareness. The Islamic thinking, in the last two decades, have brought them to believe that the West is a ripe fruit that will fall in their hands with little effort. Manuel Vider predicts that an Islamic conquest will mean a new type of (religious) slavery. Contrary to most experts he states: "that Islam is not yet in 2002 willing to engage in an open �Clash of Civilizations, as a large, huge (nuclear?) confrontation."

He sustains that Islam will continue with �low burner� terrorism for the foreseen future, from time to time attacking weak points, without allowing the Western Civilization the excuse to use Atomic, or Hydrogen bombs - unless some of their leaders get desperate. Add to the Islamic fundamentalist uprisings southern Jordan, �testing the resolve� of the new King of Jordan. With illegal emigration and local terrorism Islam hopes to conquer the world - quite easily! Vider explains how, as a decoy, Islam is using anti-Semitism in reverse gear, blaming the Jews, while going on with their unrelenting moves of conquest.
